13th International Conference "Financial Management"

Conference in addition to issues related to the wider financial management, stressed the importance of disseminating research results in the field of financial management. Hosted its many distinguished guests from the world of science and business. During the conference, in addition to traditionally strong subjects exposed business valuation and assessment of investment efficiency, were discussed issues concerning financial markets and financial management in enterprises and public sector. The meeting was attended by over 200 people, at home and abroad, representing both academia and the business - despite the scientific nature, the conference enjoys great popularity among presidents and CEOs, financial directors, chief accountants and financial specialists. Conference participants and authors of articles submitted represented a total of more than 70 universities, companies and institutions.
 
Participants presented their articles during the two-day meeting organized in five plenary sessions, five panel sessions (a total of 15 panels) and a poster session. In total, 90 instances occurred. For each of the panel session discussant was assigned the task was to prepare the synthetic references to theses results and conclusions presented by the speakers, as well as initiating a discussion of the topic.
 
The conference took the patronage of Minister of Economy, Marshal Office of the West. Partner of the conference was the Polish Entrepreneurs Foundation. When working on the organization of the conference, also cooperated with the Bureau of Credit Information Euroafrica shipping lines and Cooperative Savings and Credit Funds Subsistence, the Office of the City of Szczecin, Bulk Cargo Port-Szczecin SA, Aerogryf Aviation, Marine Polish, Seaports Management and Świnoujście, the House of Medicine SA, Fosfan SA, Western Regional Credit Guarantee Fund, Opel Bogackim.
 
The conference was accompanied βeta awards ceremony, which is a statue of the competition - this is the honorary award of excellence in financial management. Given the criteria for its award and the prestigious nature, provides support and motivation for the initiatives within the broader discipline of financial management and contribute to the development of this important discipline. Handing βeta Awards Gala in 2012 was accompanied by that led Darius Baranik - TVP editor of Szczecin. Honors the host did Assoc. prof. U.S. Dariusz Zarzecki. This year the prize was awarded in 2012 βeta prof. Tadeusz Dudycz for the publication of "The financial analysis as a tool for financial management company."
 
The first day of the conference, each participant received two extensive volumes of more than nine-page publication, which consists of articles submitted by participants.
 
The conference involved a large group of students who have the possibility of meeting with the authors of the books used by the deepening economic and financial knowledge.
